I Love My Job Because I Love What I Do

I am very fortunate that I love my job and I am considered very good at it. I work in a technical capacity governed by black and white rules and statutes. The company I work for has been very generous in allowing me to custom design programs for our clients.

I also work for 7 salesmen who sell my services. (not quite what you think) but I make them lots of money. The problem with working for salesmen is that they don't see life as black and white but rather shades of gray. I get that but they tend to promise more than they can deliver.

The company is generous and they allow me to work from home which is an added plus.

Its pretty obvious that I am looking forward to my retirement. My ducks are in row. My investments are safe and I am headed to the home stretch. I would rather go out in a blaze of glory than have to be led out.

The other day, the president of the company asked me if I would work until I am 70. My immediate thought? You must be out of your ever loving mind! NO AND HELL NO.

Then he said the magic words....we will work around your travel. Yes I said without blinking an eye. That is a true blessing.
