I Am Speechless

@Virgo79 Yeah, and it wouldn't be a problem, I feel, if this site wasn't trying to be something it wasn't. It's got a clear lean and if you even remotely don't follow the way it leans you "don't belong" here. Meanwhile the site tries to say that everyone is welcome, while at the same time counteracting that whole message and sending one in the opposite direction.

Yea it could be alot more fun of people would loosen up.
If I see something posted I think is weird I usually don't reply.

@Virgo79 Exactly. I mean, the thing is, it's the internet. that stuff is going to be here no matter what. If you're so busy focusing on all the things you don't like you're not going to have the time to focus and put time into the things you DO like. I think it's as simple as that.

@MarkPaul Drama being created when there's nothing worth being dramatic about. content being censored when it doesn't need to be. It's frustrating when people are brought to the site, under the assumption they can be who they want, and immediately shut down, insulted and harassed.

@ExperienceDLT Except sometimes it's not up to them, they get banned as many people I've seen on here have. Over minor things no less. It's a pseudo-freedom and it's just gotten more heavy-handed.

@ExperienceDLT That's my point. it's advertised as being a site where you can find the people who feel similarly about things you do. hence the name "similarworlds" but it's not about people who feel similarly to you anymore, it's about people who feel what the majority do. If you have a niche mindset you get discouraged from posting here and ultimately your choice to be here taken away.

@camoboy00 idk I try to give as much respect as I can and don't try to violate tos. I just speak my mind or I don't bother posting. That's all :/ ??

@2cool4school Exactly, and that's what a lot of people do, but nowadays a lot of posts, even if they don't violate ToS, get taken down. I try and keep things fairly respectful myself unless it seriously sets me off, and even then I tend to tone down how I would usually respond.

@camoboy00 hmm? I appreciate the advice. I wouldn't want to get banned or upset anyone that's not my intention at least.
