I Miss My Dad

On my own, driving between work appointments, this song comes on the car radio today. I had to pull over and console myself. It brought back so many good childhood memories of a happy holiday.

Just like that, out of the blue.

I don’t mean to sound strange but the same thing happens to my family as I lost my brother when I was 16 so we often here the same songs played at his funeral. It doesn’t make me sad anymore as I look at it as if he’s thinking of me or looking down on me.

@SW-User I get that. This was completely out of the blue and floored me. A sudden rush of extreme happiness followed by rapid memories from the road trip and then sadness and then the reality that he's been gone 15 years.
