I Miss My Dad
My Dad was a Fraternal Twin . Last Christmastime his twin went into a coma as she was dying of lung cancer . He called me up distraught "Teres is in a coma." I cried and told him "Hold her hand just hold er hand ." He did just that and she died . She died Christmas Day at 4 pm which is the end of the hour of Divine Mercy. so her nickname is "Christmas Angel" I have read that twins, after one dies, the other one usually follows . in this case this was definitely true .
He had been a regular man financially. Then poverty hit us . Then he became a millionaire . went to Prison . and died bankrupt . this has always killed me because although imperfect . He was the most generous man I knew . He died broke in a hotel not telling anyone . This man whom he brought into the business world in the first place. when he asked to borrow some money told him . "how much longer am i going to have to pay for you."
He had his heart attack right after that.
if i had known . i would have told him . Dad. you dont have to be a millionaire . just be regular . live with me and do little things you like to do like cook , serve at church, volunteer, excercise. but I guess he was "too much of a man " and in too much deep denial . and in too much debt. i don't know i'm just writing today because i had to order a copy of his death certificate today for my sister to collect disability .
so after his twin died he died in a hotel with his loyal assistant but his side . DOA .
after that my uncle in hospice care learned and died right away too .
that was 3 people i loved in 5 months .
the other 3 siblings retired after that .
