I Miss My Dad

You-you were so selfish that you never thought about how keeping him away would hurt me. You only thought about your reasons which never considered what was best for me. I had a right to know him. He had a right to know me. You had no right to deny us our right. You chose to stay bitter and you used me as a pawn. You could hurt him you thought, by keeping me away from him. But, you never thought or cared how that would hurt me too. Now he’s gone and I’ll never get the chance to know him or what was like to have a father. All I got is you to thank for that.
