Mine too. Not heard of it on the trumpet. Not sure I would be such a fan of it on the trumpet, though I know I can't say until I listen to that version.
It does have some memories for me too - only the place, time of day and atmosphere and feeling of where I was when I first heard it.

I was a student in the 70s and I started listening to classical guitar music after I saw the Deer Hunter with its now famous musical score by John Williams. The journey then continued with artists like Ry Cooder and Leo Kottke. I, too, remember the time vividly!

@Curiosity: Oh, the tune in the Deer Hunter was one of my favourites! Can/could play it on the piano (I haven't watched the film though).

@amethys Oh it was a ground-breaking film in its day. RC and LK are from the other side of the Pond and can do amazing things with guitars. I am not keen on their voices but their instrumentals are amazing.
