Question for men

I see a lot of posts here and elsewhere about men suffer in solitude or we bottle it up. When you suffer emotionally or mentally, what do you suffer? How does it affect you? What do you do to contain it?

I don’t think I really suffer, yes I do get depressed sometimes I think everyone does. Living on your own can make you overthink things sometimes. I do go out and do voluntary work and that helps. When I do get a bit down though I tend to play some games on the iPad and do feel better

@CuddleFeesh yes, it's a man's problem don't expect help you have privilege, almost a year later and our problems still on the back burner. we suicide alot 3 attempts under my belt. even failed at that. No empathy for us even in therapy offices. I bottled up years of shit from being raped as a child. I eventually spoke out and have regretted it every since.

I went to therapy, I'm the last to be seen I'm suffering my gf is dying, my best friend already died,.

most men have trauma they would rather ignore than face, deny rather than heal.

You're therapist is likely to be someone who is either unable or unwilling to see past you being male.

best get a good female one though because every male therapist, has a certain idea of what a real man is or should be too. odds aren't in our favor and it's why we bottle it up.

the comments were empty so I'll be here a minute. 1in6 boys get sexually molested or abused
in childhood, that's alot of trauma.
I know, I told my story and my life has sucked since..
