I'd go with the bleach. Proprietory mould removers seem to be just bleach (calcium hypochlorite or similar) in a gel that helps them stick around long enough to work. It does need time to act.
A nail-brush is effective for scrubbing the grout.
I always wipe the bath surround and metalwork after a shower, and leave the room door open (and window, in warm weather), to help stave off mildew.
In my area, with hard water, wiping down also minimises layers of scale forming.
