I Have Memories I Can Never Forget

A cold and foggy November morning in Hyde Park, London. The buildings of Park Lane, Oxford Street, Bayswater all but invisible shrouded in mist. A girl passes us on horseback. We walk on hand in hand, happy to be in each other's company, but there's a sense of foreboding in the air. We'll be seperated again soon but we're used to that. What is new is the intangible and inexplicable feeling that the final end might not be far off. I shiver and want to be in the warmth of my flat with her in my arms. She marches determinedly on, looking sad almost desperate. Years later when we're apart for ever more, we'll both hear pieces of music that evoke far more powerfully than words, that moment in time. Why did it have to be thus?

Hi Peaches,
Many thanks for your response. Sometimes a particularly memorable moment comes into one's mind as if it happened yesterday, and then a few days later one forgets writing about it. Cheers.

@alan20 Yes, I'll also have a wonderful story and then forget to write it down for later.
