I Have Memories I Can Never Forget

Both good and bad, like everyone else. But I wish the bad memories would disappear, it would make life so much easier without them.

Remembering is when you don't want to forget. It's when the memories are stronger, heavier, brighter and colorful.
YOU have set in your mind the thoughts you want to keep. These thoughts need to be replaced. Undone, Removed.
I have memories I don't want to forget. So many so incredible. And each thought is special. Some are sad. A sadness that makes me feel weak. Things I have done because I didn't want to hurt another. Incapable of taking that next step. However we move on. It's built within us to let-go of what we cannot handle.

My dad says if you forget, it never happened. I try to forget bad situations and usually after some time it works.

It is said, we learn from our mistakes. Yet do we learn? Or merely hide from them? Sometimes our Significant other needs their space. A place to gather our thoughts.
If you need SPACE, Join NASA. I would want my partner to be in 'tune' to my mistakes and let me know, so I wont be repetitive. If I hurt you I need to know as too often I use the words without knowing what it is I said that hurt you. Yet this too is impossible for most of us.

@SW-User 'NO' remembering our errors, as well as the pain these words caused, helps us to build a better tomorrow. I can know almost instantly when I have hurt someone's feelings. I cannot take it back once spoken. Yet in seeing their face I have learned I was wrong.
LEARN from your mistakes! Memories are there to have that recall. As to NOT make the SAME repetitive errors. Stop being afraid of apologies.

I'm not afraid of apologies, maybe I misworded but a lot of my own bad memories are ones that don't even involve hurting anyone and I've always made sure to apologize when I've wronged someone
