I Think Age Really Is Just A Number

To all my women friends of 'age'. Most of us are going through the next stage of our lives. We're at that age where we see the wrinkles, grey hair, extra pounds and that scary but natural phase we have no choice but go through - the menopause. We see the pretty 25 year old and sign, but we were 25 too just like they will one day be our age. What they bring to the table with their youth and zest for life, we bring wisdom, experience and good hearts. For all we have been through earning each grey hair, some of us raising kids, bills and ills and whatever else life throws at us, we are survivors. We are warriors. We are women. Like a classic car or fine wine. While our exterior may not be what it once was, it is traded for our spirit, our courage and our strength to enter this chapter of our lives with grace and pride for all we've been thorugh and accomplished. I will be 58 in September and I am passionate about doing all I can to live my best going into my 60's and beyond. Life isnt a competition, non of us are getting out of this alive but I'd like to be here and be healthy for as long as I possibly can and I hope you will too.
