well i do not want to burst your bubble but that is a standard thing when you put an application form in for a position but do not be disheartened by what i have said you have much chance as anyone else will keep our fingers crossed for you @rosyhills

@smiler2012 jobs don't ask for references unless they are interested.

The application did not ask for references.

I got an email from am HR rep, NOT a generic email , which asked me to send in my reference info asap.

@rosyhills that is what i find odd most application forms for jobs ask for referees on it as one of the question but no matter good luck anyway hope this bears fruit and they take you on
