@SW-User I agree ☮️ but those guys didn't want to be there. I had an uncle who did this..he'd teach us judo but he'd never talk about what he did in the war.

@bookerdana awww I know...it was horrible. This is why we can never forget...

@SW-User He went from a Catholic seminary to the USMC in December of 1941..he was really a nice man but he died much too young.

@SW-User Why is the poppy the symbol of remembrance day? Veterans Day here..used to be Armistice Day for the end of WWI

@SW-User Whether it was Joan Baez(someone I crushed on in the 60s-she was a "looker" to this, then teen-but I digress) or others who did this song, it's one I feel those who sit in power with wealth, money and sway, have never stepped onto a battle field, but had/have no problem sending young men and women into harm's way as canon fodder for their agendas! I say this because I am a veteran!
