How long can you keep a secret?

I have kept one for 45 years.

Ages. I have some I’m still keeping from decades ago

Pretty much forever. I generally don't repeat anything anyone tells me even if it's not a secret.

I've had since 2009 that only a couple of close people know.

Tbf, I have the memory of a golsfish and I forget most things.

It is one of my core beliefs - it would be the worst betrayal of a trust if I promised to keep a secret and then not to keep it. I think I could not sleep anymore.

It depeds if there's a good enough incentive to spill or keep my mouth shut.

I'm known to take a secret till death.

For instance a user on this shared her name with me. I have never mentioned her name to anyone and I never will regardless of whether we stay friends or not.

I'm usually like "Hey, do you already know? But don't tell anyone, it's a secret!"

I mean, I know so much that can have people arrested, killed, or just completely ruin their lives. I’m a vault, it’s how I was raised. I was raised being told “Calladito miras mas bonito” which means “you look nice when you’re quiet”. It’s pretty much a threat 😐
