I Was A Daddy's Girl For Sure
I have always been closer to my dad, as I had much more in common with him than I had with my mom.
Dad and I both loved to read horror and fantasy; we both loved Cheers and John Hughes movies. We loved oldies music and telling scary stories and we loved animals.
He always encouraged me in everything, and I think I always thought I was smarter than I was, because that's how he made me feel. 😊 My dad and I lost many years due to his alcoholism later on, but I was lucky to have a great dad in the early years who wanted to be a part of my life.
