I Think Marijuana Should Be Legalized

Imagine the taxes, just from my generation!

Why do governments seek to control everything when they have no experience of life except the rush of merit seeking ambition!? I don't know, but they could all use a hit off a spliff, if only they were honest!

It's a tough one. Hand on heart, I've never indulged. As a teenager I knew dozens of people who more or less lived on it. High unemployment, too much time and no money. It was cheaper than alcohol...and it gave them a social life meeting at each others houses for a smoking session. A lot of them sold it too. I'm not trying to scare monger.....I seriously don't know enough scientific facts to say how safe it is....but I can tell you this:
A number of those guys spent time in prison for selling.
Many went on to take other drugs that killed them. I can name a dozen or so of those guys who did see beyond 35....leaving behind deverstated families. A number now have mental health issues.
I'm not saying this is all down to canabis .... but I'm telling you all the people....nice, normal guys at some point said ' canalised should be made legal' ' it's completely harmless'
It's not.馃槩

I know a few friends who have been smoking Mariuana for forty years unfortunately it's affected their brains they've gone strange they're living in a little world of their own so on my experience I would hope it doesn't get legalized what's wrong with fresh air.馃

I think possibly, governments want to push people toward tobacco and alcohol consumption, which is easier for them to profit from production, quality controls and tax distribution. Mary Jane can be grown anywhere.

They don't want it to be legal, think they make more money distributing drugs illegally on a huge international level themselves like they do with the heroin trade in Afghanistan. But I mean that's probably just me being paranoid. I think legalisation would be a great step to remove the stigma though yes

I don't use it myself but having been to Amsterdam and seen how freely available it is there I can see no reason why other places shouldn't try the same cafe setup as they do there. The city seemed so relaxed and civilized.

I've seen 1st hand the damage it can do when used to the excess. I wish people wouldn't bang on about it being harmless.

@RubySoo I don't want people taking drugs driving on our roads and thats a bit issue which can't be swept under the mat.
