I Have Lots of Wtf Moments

So, I get calls and texts while at work all the time. My employers don't really care because I get my job done. So, its normal for me to be on my cell even when my boss is around.

Today, I was opening a text from my Twisted Sister and it was the above photo, captioned "do you think this is real." I jumped as soon as I saw the pic because I wasn't expecting it. I also wasn't expecting Mr. Bossman to be looking over my shoulder. He joked a bit, giving me a hard time but I really didn't think he saw anything because I was pretty quick with hiding it. He leaves and my face is on fire, I was so embarrassed. A couple minutes later, he comes back in from outside, pokes his head in my office and says "just so you know, its not real" and walks away.

I am so glad its Friday and I will have the weekend to get over this moment...

LOL
I use EP at work... I got a funny message from a friend as I sipped tea and I had a combined snort-laugh-choke moment that left me coughing... I made a sound like an electrocuted seal being goosed by a rhino... customers, coworkers and the boss were all staring at me in shock. That thing about being glad its Friday? Oh yeah, me too!

LMAO, thats awesome!

Ha... Not from where I'm sitting! I almost sprayed tea all over my monitor!
LOL... Its funny how some things are funnier to remember than to experience...

A few days ago I was out at night and heard the wolves howling... hopped the fence to go chase them away from my animals... never saw the black sheep that was invisible in the night and landed with one foot on either side of it. It was an embarrassingly awkward surprise rodeo. I don't know if the sheep or me was more shocked... but neither of us liked it.

The sheep bunts me now for no reason...

From where Im sitting its hilarious ; )

I think that sheep is just giving you a friendly reminder...."hey you, you see me?" haha
brokencowboy
Ha ha Like that phone commercial... "Can you hear me now?" Only with bunting.

haha!

Once this weekend she got me facing her... I wasn't paying enough attention while carrying a bag of carrots... I guess she wanted carrots "Now dammit" and I was almost a soprano... that's not the way to get my horse to respect me, either. He already looks at me too often like he's laughing at me. ;)

Oh... and now I have just what I needed to compliment the black sheep... a black potbelly piglet. He was in dire need of a home and the guy knew a sucker when he saw one. All he had to do was tell me it was going to have to go for meat... I think someone spilled the beans about me being a soft hearted shmoo... Its half the size of a loaf of bread and he can already jump on my couch. My once pretty leather couch... Shmoo indeed...

Awe, a big softy, I like it : ) I am an animal lover too but i don't think I could have a pig as a pet, that's a bit much for me.

I now have 3... but only one in the house... and he's only inside for the winter!
Him and a few small animals that don't winter well outside. My ferret thinks its a conspiracy. He has quail and miniature chickens as neighbors. LOL

😜 Oh my! LOL

I realized my mind was gone a few years ago when I found myself in just a towel and cowboy boots, chasing wolves away from the sheep with a shovel handle in the middle of the night... I have these little "aha" moments now that only confirm that diagnosis. The dog won't even make eye contact with me now since the pig climbed into his bed... he sat there looking at me as the pig climbed in as if to say "Are you seeing this? Hey, are you going to do something???" And I didn't do anything. Apparently the cat doesn't appreciate a pig using his litter box either. I'm not popular right now, I'm telling you... LOL
TxBtrflyX2 · 46-50, F
Hahaha!! I can imagine the looks on their little faces. You better get them their own bed!
brokencowboy
They are all so determined to get their own way...
Animals... they are just so darned stubborn. LOL
My poor couch has taken a beating too!
TxBtrflyX2 · 46-50, F
I can understand that one. We used to allow our dogs (2 chihuahuas) on the furniture. We had to replace the couch and love-seat, they are no longer allowed on the furniture.
brokencowboy
Mine aren't allowed... but somehow while I was at work all day... kids were having enforcement lapses... and once it was scratched up... I just gave up. That poor couch had everything from baby raccoons to ferrets to cats, dogs, baby goats, and now a piglet... I either have to harden up the heart a bit or start getting nasty old used furniture. LOL

I use baby gates to keep them out of the rooms I dont want them in while were gone. It works most of the time. Good luck with your furry friends and your furniture :)
brokencowboy
Thanks... I use the baby gates too... but dog can jump them, coons climb them, dang pigs can actually get the nose under and pop it out... I had a baby deer for a while that used to jump it in a bound. You show your wisdom in your choices of animals, and a valid method of containment... I end up thinking about how I'll keep them out of trouble once I'm on my way back to the house. LOL
As I get out of bed in the morning I hear the dog hop off the couch and quickly get into his bed... I go out there and he looks very occupied with something in the opposite side of the room from me...

LMAO!!!! Oh my goodness, I can so picture it, cracking me up!

I need to start a group with animal stories... I tell ya... LOL
I have a chicken that thinks its the mother of 2 bunnies, sat on them since they were born, and now they are 4 times her size. She still tries to sit on them to warm them and spread her wings over them.
The dog has grown up with so many animals coming and going, all I have to do is call the new animal his puppy, and he behaves himself, no matter how much he wants to kick it out... The piglet climbs all over him and snorts in his ears, pulls his collar and he just gets a long suffering look. I would feel worse, except the couch, and he keeps taking one of my boots outside and I have to go looking for it while hopping... ha ha
