@quitwhendone It depends on the country and ideology the mass follows. He seems to be well liked in countries where there is a conservative population or a populist government in power. Not so much liked in several European countries since we know they have a more centrist of left leaning population and government.
Having said that you've to understand foreign relationship are a tricky and delicate business. I remember when Obama administration was caught spying on Merkel's phone. Germany was not happy. Obama had to apologize.
Arab countries were unhappy with Obama over his soft stand on Iran. Bush was liked in Europe but despised in Asia and middle east.

It plays to their base,(or so they believe in their drug befuddled little worlds). It's completely about the votes and keeping power. Gradually, you will begin to see that elected officials who have no moral compass of their own will flip, flop, switch, betray...say or do absolutely ANYTHING to obtain and keep their power and grasp and claw their way to the top.
Criminals, anarchists, and at least 100 different violent groups have infiltrated BLM and they have usurped the message...but they will not identify themselves as criminals or anarchists...because under normal circumstances they would be arrested. These are not, now, normal circumstances...not any longer.
In the Pacific Northwest the police have thrown up their hands in disgust and they have walked off the job because the DA and the local courts refuse to prosecute the criminals. They have abandoned the Federal courthouse in Portland. They are being attacked and injured every single night...but the DA and the courts will not jail the criminals. The police there now say...why even bother?
In NYC Bill DiBlasio is actually planning to BUY up all the abandoned property as people with money and brains flee the city for their own safety, thus setting himself up as the future real estate king of NYC.
His police are in an uproar...and Cuomo does absolutely nothing but sit in front of a camera and blame Trump for his own personal shortcomings, while making plans, (along with the Governor of California), to try to tax wealth of all the people who have fled...for up to 10 years).
In Chicago Lori Lightweight is doing the same thing as Cuomo. It's all Trump's fault...all of it...her own incompetence and refusal to admit she can't handle her job or keep her people safe and still play stupid political games.
Our state governments are ENCOURAGING this. This is what they want. It is 74 days till the elections, and if they can make things bad enough, they can tempt Trump to walk into their various traps. They WANT him to overstep his legal authority so that the media can film the Military Police beating the crap out of antifa white boys, or better still, Antifa or Marxist blacks...the media would eat that up, and they could USE it to sway the elections.
Instead of addressing the looting and the destruction and the violence with the POLICE who are trained to do this job, these idiot politicians are hoping and praying there are more BLM and antifa among the looters who will vote for them, and are giving them free reign. This is SO stupid, because antifa doesn't want ANY government at all. They want this exact situation. Anarchist WANT anarchy.

it is major fun living in Portland Oregon right now. If you watch Fox you'd think it was riots every night and everything on fire.
Even on the footage Hannity showed tonight showed a guy getting beat up and protesters intervening to stop the other protesters from beating up the guy. I am like... is that the best they can come up with?
It's like the footage they never show of that beautiful silent march over the bridge and everyone lying down. Or the protesters who put out a fire started by other protesters. The people helping folks injured by PPB up and out of the fray. They never show the good. It's always negativity.
Stop watching fox and go outside and look at a plant for a little while.
