I Had A Dream

I had a dream that we were getting married, but we didn't call it anything. We just were. You looked into my eyes and I in yours, your hand in mine and my hand in yours, we kissed, and that was it. We weren't limited or constrained by a label, but we were so content with each other that our trust never wavered. In reality, I want to know where I stand, who I am in your eyes, who I am to you, not by showing it but by saying it. But you don't say it. You only show it. And you show it a lot. So I guess that was the point of my dream. Maybe my mind is trying to tell me that a relationship is more than words, because words can only do so much.
