I Believe People Misunderstand Mental Illness

I am glad to be unique I have BPD I have PTSD but they are conditions and they are not me people fear mental health they dont understand and they assume so often its due to drugs and alcohol and that is the doctors well I have those things and I am not an addict I never have been I am me with a few quirks

My daughter has schizophrenia she is 15 but was only 10 when they realised I had to fight to get her help ... yes people assume you are a killer etc but times are changing most of it is due to fear .
