Were you ever a victim of racial profiling?

How did it happen and did you do anything about it?

Racial profiling at work. Working in such a close knit industry, I have struggled to find work since leaving a government establishment (which was tough to remain given the harassment) and I now realise its because I'm black. All the nice places that pay well used me to cover their sick staff and attract a new type of clientele but once satisfied I was squeezed out.
I have been approached simply because "I've always wanted to date a black girl".
I've been spoken to simply because well "you're not like other black girls".
I've been followed around a high street shop simply because it is in a high end area, by a security guard. I didn't buy anything in the end because of this...

@Peppa Sorry to hear about this...

@SubstantialKick I really don't know why you or anyone would be. This is life right. And apparently when you are black like me, I should just expect it. It really doesn't matter whether you protest about it, or if you suck it up. The gate keepers to changing this just won't because its blatantly obvious that I look different.
I'm not fortunate enough to be able to dye my hair, change the way I dress and get in with a new friends group to be able to fit in. I will always be black and that in itself means I will always be met with suspicion or excluded simply because well who's going to care about me?
