Tbh I'm scared.

The last time I did love someone, it broke me. I healed and I found someone amazing to realize nothing lasts forever. People leave eventually and I end up getting hurt as a cycle.

I stopped loving. I guess I'm not cut out for it.

@Beatbox34 we always think the ultimate goal is the other person to feel for us to the same depth but we never really stop to think how we are all different and love differently. You met people who left for their reasons, other people like you may have been in the same situation.. it doesn't devalue your love.
perhaps it is a matter of luck to meet someone who's way of loving is compatible with yours. It's not your fault nor your character, it is all luck and perspective. If you believe it won't work, surprise surprise, it WON'T because it's like you've already decided before trying. The world is so big we don't know if we will meet our kind of love but it is worth to reach out when you see an opportunity for something good. So, leave the past where it belongs and step bravely into the new. What happens after is not otally your choice nor worry. Just arrange your sails in the direction you want. The rest is probability. As long as you maintain your mindset of growth and try new things in life, you will have a chance despite the winds of change :)

.but I take some comfort in knowing that it's a process we must go through ..I know I will get through it and I will become more resilient because of it ...My pain does not determine my capacity to love or how or when I heal..it will heal in time ..nothing is forever, not even heartache

@iamonfire696 I just want to add that we are all responsible for our own happiness as well ...we can't rely on others for that ...we can love ourselves the way we think we should be loved ...hope that makes sense
