I Have A Hurting Heart

It can sometimes feel that way. Once your heart heals things will seem brighter. Find things you enjoy. Find something in your day that makes you smile. Focus on the little things. Life is all about our choices and our attitude. I'm often sad and melancholy these days, but I'm getting better slowly. I try to focus on the good, to be grateful, to believe in joy and wonder, and it helps. We don't know what the future holds. I believe I will be happy again. When I was a teenager, my mother told me that life's paths have a way of twisting and turning every 6 months. In other words, things have a way of changing and your circumstances will be different 6 months from now than they are at this moment. She was right. When bad things happen, or I feel hopeless I remember what she told me and I wait 6 months. Without fail, things always change for the better. You never know what good thing is just around the corner. Hope this helps.
