"Hated" is the Keyword Here

Now that I'm older and in college, I can honestly say I really love school. I've come to see the value in an education and I've actually come to regret a lot of the time I spent slacking off in high school. If I had kept the same grades back then that I currently have right now, I could have gotten into a top-notch university. Not Harvard or Stanford, but maybe NYU or UCLA.

Me too. Once you know what you want to do as well, I started university at 26 and I love it.

@Ryannnnnn Ah. I started a few years ago, but haven't been a full-time student until recently. I think it's easier to appreciate the value of a good education once you are older, especially when you start to see the kind of jobs that are available for those who only got a high school diploma or a GED. $2000 a month seemed like a decent amount of money when I was 15 and had no concept of how much the basic necessities of life actually costs.
