I Feel Like Everyone Hates Me

It's just seems like all my life people don't like me as much as others. No one seems to want to get to know me or meet me but they do other people. Then people just don't treat me the same way they treat others. I asked my gf why everyone hates me and what I do that makes them hate me and she said it's all in my head and that they don't all hate me. I just see how easy it is for other people to make friends and it's so much harder for me. Like my gf moved here about a year ago and has more friends and better/closer friends than I've made in the 14 years I've lived here. I just don't get what's so wrong with me that I can't make friends or have anyone to not hate me.

@poptartinvasion yeah I'm starting college in like 2 weeks and am gonna join clubs and yeah I do have a job but at work no one seems to treat me the same. Maybe cuz they've worked there a lot longer but I got a promotion instead of them? But I don't know hopefully I'll be able to make friends in clubs but I'm extremely shy from always feeling like this so it'll be hard for me.
