I Am On A Ketogenic Diet

One week. And either my scale is malfunctioning or I have lost significant weight.

I bought a small deep freeze and cooked about 30 keto appropriate meals and froze them. Now I will not have to shop or cook for another month. Since the temperature climbed to 112 degrees recently, and was 102 today, (I live in the desert) I will need to kick back and not go out much. I will be reading, resting, and swimming for a while.

If it turns out my scale isn't lying, this diet--or permanent lifestyle--will work very well for me.

doesn't work.

@unknownpoetx Have you tried it? What was your experience? Why do you think it is ineffective?

@greenmountaingal there's a thing called science which is based on facts and evidence. you should look into it ;)

@unknownpoetx Science actually explains why it works as well as it does for so many people; without a lot of carbs, assuming one doesn't overeat, the body tends to use its stored fat for energy. There are definitely doctors who have endorsed it.

@greenmountaingal no it doesn't. that's pseudoscience. it's based on fairy tails and ignorance and stupid people that believe in shit like that

@unknownpoetx You sound like you know very little about it.

@greenmountaingal I'm a physician. What are your qualifications?
greenmountaingal · 70-79, F
@unknownpoetx I'm struggling with my weight. Doctors seem to have different opinions about it. If you Google Keto diet Time magazine, there is an article summarizing the medical arguments on both sides.

LOL... nice qualifications. no wonder you are fat
