I Will Take As Many Words As I Want To Write This Story

Who I Am

I am the fingers you feel dance in your hair. The hand that pauses only slightly at the base of your neck , only to retrace their steps back to where they were to start over again. A familiar route traveled again and again.

I am the soft kisses you feel on your cheek, giving you pause and leaving your heart still and smiling and your soul feeling sang to.

Lastly I am the soft touch you feel caress your face and the touch that traces your arms down to your hands. Pausing ever so slightly as I hold them as if they were made of glass. Inciting touch that sends shutters and goosebumps form the back of your neck down your spine. Confusing and welcome at the same time. And quite pleasing.

That is who I am. I am that poet you'll never meet. Whose being you will never see. But whose presence you will feel , as real as if I was beside you.

Beautiful words
@Gangstress Thank You. I think we all come across ones that touch us, profoundly. Maybe in person and maybe just by words from afar. But they have-and we will never be the same again. We will be better.

And I think when they leave out lives, for whatever reason, they leave a great hole in us. One that no other can fill. And so we long for them;pine, again for their inspiration, love and presence.

That is what I was trying to capture. We still feel their touch, from a distance, years later.
