Waiting Time----
Alone in my rocker I thought of you. A distant voice calling out; Ones whose words reverberated with me. And through me. That cut to the core, the essence, the soul Of me. But perhaps of others as well. I rock and wait. For a stranger that never comes.
@sassycookie Thanks, dear. I was looking for picture of a woman in a rocker- but none suited me- or the post. So this lady on a rock overlooking the ocean had to do.

@phlatonmeback: That does sound nice. But in this case, I think I would rather be alone with my thoughts and in the solace of the moment. The longing for another is seldom satiated by that presence of another.
@Starshine: Thanks for reading this. I think there is always that one in life that touches us to the core-as no other had done-or will ever do- again. We yearn for them, long for them and pine for their company.
Maybe it was love on a deep level. maybe understanding on the same level. But we want it.
@Elysian Thank You. This was almost too easy to write-as if it wrote itself. Yearning for a heart, or a past love, can be an excruciating wait. One that may require great solace.
