I Will Take As Many Words As I Want To Write This Story

Further Along

My Thoughts This Week---

[i][c=#BF0080]My thoughts today ( Friday EVE--ALMOST as great AS Friday as Friday IS LIFE!!!) revolve around organization. I am an idealist, a dreamer, a flower child that never aged, a champion for a cause and a old hippie that refuses to cease being one as that betrays the movement! I won't get into what it is as it is a polarizating topic here and I'm not in the mood to act as Ben Shapiro or Jordan Peterson. They are an opposite gender but you the point.

There are more challenges to doing what will happen and what I WILL MAKE HAPPEN the more one get into the planning and organization stages. It's a must to stay focused but one much also think outside the box and even outside one's comfort zone. I am no stranger to such a thing.

It's the GOOD that we do in life that is our legacy. It is our benevolence-be it financial (Andrew Carnegie and libraries, i.e) or of time given to causes and interests. These things far more define us a person-a whole being-than words or promises.

There is a challenge that exists right here in Somerset County and it's one no one has met yet. Until now. Thew visionary I was 50 year ago I still am but now I have the benefit of having lived many years behind me. Knowledge accrues through tenure and tenure is only acquired by having lived! (As for death I do not see it as an end but rather a new beginning.) In short, there is good to do here and I intend to see it done!

Short synapse of my thoughts however the life and times of Woody Guthrie has been on my mind as well. A radical thinker inspiring another radical thinker....I wonder...???

OK-since by now you are more than half asleep may as well play you a proper lullaby. Can you hear the railroad whistle if you listen closely where YOU ARE? I can.The dreamer in me lovers to hear it's lonesome call.

I lived at Haight and Masonic in San Francisco from 1966 to 1968. I am glad you still have the best of that era in you. 💗⚘💗🎶
@greenmountaingal It is hard to lose the feeling of that time. We were the original dreamers! We forced change when governments would not. We shined a light on the status quo and it saw it's ugly head and was shamed. There will never be another time-or generation-like ours. But credit also goes to the beat generation that came before us. Ginsburg, Bruce, Kerouac, Dean, Kesey, et al. The poets and dreamers that frequented the coffee houses of Soho and the East Village who made thinkers of us.
