I Am Still Losing Weight

Yes, I now look very different to how I looked in August 2018. Six stone lighter! I look young, despite turning 40 last week, and I feel a lot healthier and much more energetic. I no longer look overweight and people who didn't know me before are surprised when I tell them I go to Slimming World. I have about another two and a half stone to lose and then I will be at target. I am very happy:).

Six stone: 84 pounds? really? Splendid.
It shows what one can accomplish when one makes a plan and follows through.

@MrSimons How close did you come to goal weight MrSimons?
MrSimons · 41-45, M
@LamontCranston Oh yes. I am sorry, I should have updated people. I didn't make target by Easter and still haven't got there. I am still making progress even though it is slower than I hoped. I reached my 7 and a half stone milestone last week. I now have just another 8 and a half pounds to lose to get to target. I am no longer classed as overweight for my height and gender which is good. Having that Easter goal of reaching target was still good because I did lose a lot trying.

@MrSimons Glad to hear. It is a worthy goal and will pay dividends for life.

Congratulations. That is quite the accomplishment.

Every time I see someone post about their weight in stone I have to go look up the conversion. Someday I will remember 1 stone = 14 pounds.

@jim44444 Well actually, I have to confess to not knowing how many pounds there are in a stone until I joined Slimming World.

@jim44444 By the way, thank you for the kind comment:). I should have said.

Great job! It's a lot of work but worth it. I notice similar changes in myself. Keep it up!

@ravenwind43 Thank you.

Are you still losing it?
MrSimons · 41-45, M
@Soph03 Yes, or at least I am trying to. I am almost at target and I am finding it a bit hard to lose the last few pounds to reach my target weight. Annoying as that is, I am not too concerned. I have reached a healthy weight now and I might decide to reset my target to a slightly higher weight if I really find I can't get to where it is currently set. I will have to see how things go over the next few weeks.
