I Fear Rejection

I know there's a possibility that I'll get a million posts along the lines of "If they don't accept you, they're not worth your time" or something along those lines. But to me, it's not that simple.

Logical me knows you can't please everyone, no matter what you do. But it still hurts knowing a person or group want nothing to do with you, even if you work hard and make a great effort. If I was rejected by one person, but had dozens accepting and liking me, I'd be okay with that, but I don't.
