During certain times of the year there is a place sacred to my tribe were the elders may go and commune with the spirits. I can't explain more cause you need to be initiated into the tribe first.
When someone died the body would be chopped up and its piece scattered about for the animals to take. That was the traditional method though I must declare we have been using the coffins recently. @LonelySoul
