I Am a Parent

Being a parent is one long journey of doubt and self-criticism as to whether you're raising them correctly.
So it was gratifying to hear from other parents how good my kids are. That's happened twice this week.
It gives me pause to step back and think "They really are good kids! Maybe I'm not doing such a bad job after all."

Absolutely but don鈥檛 do yourself down.you seem like your doing a gr8 job. If your kids regard you as their hero then you鈥檝e cracked it. It will allow you to guide them in the right direction and they will listen to you. Lose the hero status... and they won鈥檛 listen so well. @NewKidInTown
