I Am a Parent

I hate being the Team Mom!
Apparently I was the only parent who offered to help so I was picked for the position.
I doens't go with my " sitting quietly , miniding my own business " routine.
I was hoping I would enjoy it and learn from it but nope ! Still HATE it !!!!🙄🙄🙄

It gives you good ammo, if you ever have to have one of those "I brought you into this world..." sermons. You can add, "I was your team mom while all the other moms sat there and ate hot Cheetos!"

Know when to pull the plug...! Don't be shy about it. Just leave when you've had enough. I did about 3 years of volunteer work for kids school and I should have quit after one😂😂😂

😳😖 we don't have those here but there are always the supermoms who like to adopt the whole team anyway. Probably why they don't make it official - don't want to cause a stampede. 😂

My best idea was creating public google calendars for the season. I put everything on it... picture day... picnic... games... practices.

Always put the location in the subject. You can put the first or last name of the snack bringers too.

The Google calendar can then be shared as a web page or addable to any smartphone's calendar.

Oh I'm with you & somehow I never quite fit in the "team mom clique" I don't know why. I'm friendly and I don't think the other mom's are bitchy I just don't connect. Maybe I have resting bitch face??

@SW-User Thanks. I don't know & I really don't worry about it. I get along with lots of other women but the whole team sport mom, I just didn't fit that group. Too bad, if they connected with me, I might share the wine in my purse.
