I 60's Canings

Today, it was exactly 50 years since the cane was abolished in schools here in Denmark.
I got it once - five months before it was banned!
My three year older sister never got it!

I remember well, a boy at our boarding school who was from Gentofte , I think it is spelt. He told a teacher about the ban coming in Denmark, the teacher just told him to bend over and be happy it isn't banned here!
