I Want to Be Understood By Just One Person

Sometimes You Have To Get To Know Someone Really Well To Realize You're Really Strangers....

We come from totally different lives. His parents were drug addicts and he moved more often than he changed his socks, living in condemned, abandoned houses with no running water or electricity.

Ward and June Cleaver were my parents, my dad was soccer coach and my mom was in the PTA. We lived in the suburbs of a big city, in the same house my dad grew up in, the same house my parents still live in to this day.

He grew up wandering around alone in the woods, his dog his only friend. My parents wouldn't allow us to cross the bend at the end of our cul-de-sac.

While he is at the polar opposite end of the zodiac, a logical, unimaginative pessimist who has no qualms about his bluntly rude nature, I am a true Pisces, an extremely spiritual, creative dreamer who is full of optimism and kindness. He doesn't understand me any more than I understand him.

Why do opposites attract? And why is hahat the more converse two people are, the more intense the attraction? The two of us shared this formidable magnetism that had an intensity only matched by the severe repulsion we had for each other. We were like magnets, forever either violently repelling away from each other, or desperately pulling one another in...

More often than not, we will both be participants in the same conversation, but each of us will have a recollection that is almost polar opposite.

There were times when we could understand each other if our lives depended on it! But then there were some times when we understood each other on levels nobody even knew existed.

I wish we could have held on to the understanding... Maybe if we did, we would still be...

Awww, its so confusing at times. I wish you could've held on to the understanding too. Who knows what could've come from it.
