I Want to Be Understood By Just One Person

I have determined that what I want more than anything in this world is understanding. In a way I am certain I have found it... but this situation is far from my norm, and I am not his to understand.

Today we came to a mutual agreement that we will become too obvious about our feelings if we continue down this path. I heard his concern... he heard mine... and we decided to just be "friends that are in love"... as if that's not setting the stage for failure... yet another thing we both agreed on.

At least we understand each other. Even when it sucks. That's all I've ever really asked for. Understanding.
