I Want to Be Understood By Just One Person

I've never been a social butterfly. I'm not looking for a network of friends. I don't need a "crew." I just want one person - close would be better but far if necessary - who gets me. Who loves to hear my voice. Who can't wait to talk to me. Who needs my presence in their life. Who really cares for me. Why is that so hard? Why am I so capable of feeling that for others but no one feels that for me? I am so sick & frustrated from being alone. 😩
