I Am An Old Soul

I was born old. I always hold myself back. Because I'm afraid people are going to judge me. It's so frustrating.

Is there ever a time where you could just be yourself? Does anyone know what I mean?

If you think you are an old soul and born old then you are making crap up to fool yourself. Maybe be honest with yourself first. Then others might be less of an issue.

@AnneHoney I'm literally holding myself back whatever I am typing. I'm trying to look normal. You do not know me, so please do not assume things of me or others. But I'm glad you seem to think I'm normal at least.

I know people are not born old and soul is hogwash. Both just efforts to hide from reality. You were born the same age as every other person. No older or younger.

@AnneHoney I think you have misunderstood. What most people mean when they say "old soul" is that A) they believe that they have lived many lives (reincarnation), thus their soul is old, or b) they feel "old inside". A little bit like when people say "I feel empty inside". They do not literally mean, that they feel EMPTY inside. It's an expression. C) Perhaps they are very passionate about subjects that are a bit "old-fashioned" and out of date. D) All of what I just wrote.

I understand all that rubbish, heard it many times. If it helps you cope to believe fiction go for it. I think curing your problems would be better than blaming them on some man in the moon type silliness. But if t makes you happy, go for it. Buy some Tarot cards, have your palms read and live your life by your sun sign.
