I Have Dyscalculia

You know what really sucks??

Having an undiagnosed (but highly probable) learning disability that holds you back from just about every career you're interested in. 😞

I'd love to go back to school and get my degree for Dental Hygiene, but this one little thing is enough to stop me in my tracks and blow the entire effort for me:

My math skills are nonexistent. The vast majority of unis will have resources if you have a learning disability and some will help pay for diagnosis or special requirements. I can barely do math and I told my uni about it beforehand. Since my major doesn't need more than basic maths they have me in a program to help with things.

Can't you get extra help with a specialist teacher? It seems such a shame if you're so interested in this job.

@DearAmbellina2113 in high school I took algebra 3 times and failed it was hard when I went to college after 4 years active duty and Navy technology school I went to college took mathematics at the college level up to calculus. Recieving my engineering degree.. I wasn't very good in High School..

I understand your medical history but I'm very flawed myself. So if I can do it so can you...
