I Support Constitutional Right To Bear Arms

Of course no rights under the U.S. Constitution are absolute, whether the right of assembly or free speech or religion or to own guns.

I don't think people realize that tighter gun control won't take away their guns, but only take guns from those who shouldn't have them.

@folks So what would be wrong with the following laws:

1) No sales at gun shops without background checks.
2) No sales at gun shows without background checks.
3) Anyone who sells a gun privately without doing a background check on the buyer is subject to arrest.

It seems to me that honest, sane people could buy all the guns they wanted under such laws, and that a lot of bad apples would be weeded out.

@DrWatson The solution is out there, but so few people are willing to listen. Our politicians are corrupt.
