Of course no rights under the U.S. Constitution are absolute, whether the right of assembly or free speech or religion or to own guns.

@folks So what would be wrong with the following laws:
1) No sales at gun shops without background checks.
2) No sales at gun shows without background checks.
3) Anyone who sells a gun privately without doing a background check on the buyer is subject to arrest.
It seems to me that honest, sane people could buy all the guns they wanted under such laws, and that a lot of bad apples would be weeded out.

Guns don't kill people. People kill people. Why? Because they are children of darkness. Satan's children. And the USA is Satan's capital of the world. And I'm glad I'm home schooled. Who wants to die in a class room at school? 😇
