Someone recommended an album and I just kept following links to more.

Just finished reading the introduction to Leaves of Grass and Song of Myself again. Whitman was a genius. A mad, pained, profane prophet of the Universal spirit of self that binds all action and creation.

He was in his own way. I love Whitman, too. Something about how he's able to say things so profound so simply. Taking each single moment and expanding it to something mad, natural and very much human. That's kind of what it's like to listen to a post rock track, all the folds and depths it allows you to journey through, in a couple of minutes.. or maybe 20. 😁

@SW-User Beautifully said. He definitely loved the natural wisdom found in simple action and reflection.

Who are you favourite bands?

@SW-User For post rock? The names are usually so strange I can't memorize them. God Is An Astronaut springs to mind, Whalefall, Industries of the Blind. I've listened to dozens or more. My favorite songs are the mood music atop my compositions. Persephone is my power song.
