I Think You Are Special
We live in a world of comparison and competition.
A world where we seek to belong so much, we try to fit in by molding ourselves to who we are with in the moment.
Many times we feel like our identity is lost.
Very often we are categorized by the social stigmas people have invented since before we were born.
We are worried about if we have the right clothes, the right shoes, the right clic.
We want to fit in the conversations people have, even when they are negatively criticizing someone you care about behind their back.
You dare not disagree or contradict lest you are outcast, rejected, or worse.
There are labels... everywhere... attempting to categorize... everybody.
You are a special person.
A living, breathing, sensing, unique in thought and emotion person.
You are beautiful whether you fit the random preference established by majority or you don't.
Your worth and significance remains.
You are not alone.
You would be surprised how many of us struggle with the same questions, the same fears, the same self image issues.
You are special.
And no, it is not just cliche, you really are!
