I Have Heart Failure

I suffered heart failure in April 2017 and finally had an ICD implant attached to my heart in hospital on the 19 January 2018 .Now the day after and feeling a bit stiff and tired but been assured it will pass as the wound heals .
I worked myself up and had a sleepless night the night before and made myself ill over nothing .The doctors and nurses were great cant thank them enough and now have the peace of mind should my heart stop or start doing crazy things the ICD will sort it and hopefully keep me alive .For anyone thinking of having one fitted go for it .Don't worry about it and get your self sick and worked up because honestly it was easy go for it .Having that peace of mind is well worth it .

@SW-User apparently I have had heart problems all my life which does explain a lot but no one picked up on it till I nearly died in april 2017

@samueltyler2 Getting there getting stronger but its gonna be a long slow recovery and my heart will never repair so it only works at 25 percent so don't know what my life expectancy is .Its a case of day by day .

If your ejection fraction is 25, that isn't great, but better than what you made me think. There are tremendous strides being made. What is your exercise tolerance. PM me if you'd like.
