Am I a bad person cause my baby will group up without a father? [I Am Pregnant]

as my due date approaches I am getting more and more emotional and feeling more and more alone. I feel like I have failed by not being able to give my baby a mum AND dad that will love them to the ends of the earth.

No, you're not. The emotional rollercoaster you're on is very normal. Your hormones are raging.

Children do very well with one parent who is actively involved in their life, nurtures, & loves them. You'll both be fine as long as you make him/her your priority.

@BreathingFreshAir Not much you can do. You've got baby brain. It's a real thing. Maybe watch some comedians you like on YouTube, or watch a funny movie. Do things that will make you laugh and force you to focus on something positive rather than the negative stuff. If you have friends you can do things with, it helps. You just need to find a way to redirect your attention to more positive things.
No, you are not. Even if you'd done everything the 'traditional way,' the father might have been lost to an accident, disease, another woman.

You must accept that and look forward to being the best mother you can be. Some of the best fathers are not biological and there may be one in your child's future. Some of the finest children have been raised, and raised well, by single parents.

What your baby needs from you is love and lots of it. Stand tall. You are in great company.
@BreathingFreshAir You have a lot going on. It's okay to be emotional. This is probably why men don't have babies. They might explode. 😀

lol. just afraid that its going to be happening real soon and I don't feel ready@Mamapolo2016
@BreathingFreshAir Around the world there are women who aren't ready who are having babies. All a baby NEEDS is already in your body. Anything else can be done later.

Diapers are probably good....

no, you're not a bad person, based on that.

sometimes dad's aren't biological. don't give up hope. 💜

My mom’s baby didn’t have a father and he is doing just fine, he’s typing this message right now...
You'll be fine.
Single mothers are common and there is now no shame in it. Your work will be a lot harder without someone to share the burden. It will be much harder to attract dates or a new relationship, and you will always have to be cautious about men with wrong intentions towards your child.
But millions of women cope with this reality every day, and most manage very well despite the difficulties.
Chances are excellent that you will too.

A lot of single parents feel like that, but It's not always in your control. At least they get to have life itself, maybe you'll meet someone who knows. You haven't failed anything though.

in the US half of the marriages end in divorce so there's no guarantee that if you were married right now - you would stay that way.

be the best mom you can be
I wish I hadn't had a father - it'd have been so much better than what I did have...
No, that does not make you a bad person, not at all.
Growing up without a good father is a disadvantage. But it’s much less of a disadvantage than growing up with a bad or abusive father, so if you’re protecting your child from that, you’re a good mother.
And not all good father figures are biological.
It takes two though...
