@bijouxbroussard: well, as I don't know what you look like, I can't swear to this, but I bet you looked adorable wearing an Afro. Unlike this whiter than white little girl who not only cut her hair to wear one, but had to get the perm and the perm didn't take and I just looked like a messy kid having a bad hair day for three months. Ugh. After that I decided to listen when mom said, "It won't suit you, Kiddo".
