My father in law's favorite pie was fresh raspberry. His wife made him one and he remarked "this is very good Honey, but not as good as my Mother's".

She never baked him another raspberry pie.….ever.

My wife would for his birthday a couple of times....I'm sure not any better than his wife's.....all he could say was thank you.

Jimmie might not have been very bright at first.....but he was a quick learner. 😂
