Did calculus take it from you? 馃槃

Kidding. Be grateful, you are smart and you will be preserved.lol

Calculus at all levels was a cakewalk. The theory of zero was a nightmare.

@JoyfulSilence. I never took another math course.

@Fauxmyope2 I got an MS in math. Then got hired as a statistician and had to take more courses since I did not study statistics that much in school. I am still learning! And techniques change. Some things that were too impractical years ago are easier now due to increased computing power. Sometimes it is easier to just try a bunch of possibilities, do some simulations, apply some models, than try and find some perfect algebraic solution.

Yet I still push he envelope. My last program was going to take 300 hours to run so I split it into 13 smaller programs and ran them simultaneously and let the Linux server handle it all as they all vied for the CPUs and memory.

@Fauxmyope2 I hear you lol Zero seems more in the realm of Philosophy than that of Pure Maths.

I am both a mathematician and a virgin.

I could survive dying a virgin. But I would never give up math! It is a part of me and the way I think. So it is not as if I could. As for my libido, well, it is already fading fast.

The records say he didn't have any romantic interest. The only woman he fell for got married to someone else as he was busy in his inventions and discoveries in his early 20s. That doesn't mean he has never been with a woman . What he did in his personal time(if he had any) no one knows.

Having said that, if I could choose to be someone like Newton and die a virgin than some average guy or dumb celebrity who sleeps with a thousand women a year, I'd choose to be Newton.

@SW-User Thank you for the info..sad to hear it is not true that busy people are attractive. Perhaps the only woman he desire was unfortunately got away..

@Sepia He was a deep believer of God and he had science on his side. He just dedicated his life for the benefit of mankind. To be honest all the stuff you see today, all big engines, machines, computers are because of his contribution to math and physics.

Nikola Tesla is another hero of mine. Edison scammed him and used all his talent to improvise his machines and even to prove him wrong he electrocuted an elephant. Tesla lost all his property and job and everything he had. He died at the age of 87 and he was dirt poor that time. Such a great scientist fell prey to corporate American greed. He was very very popular among ladies and had several romantic interests. This is him.

I mean, it's been suggested very strongly he was gay.

@RandomForest He didn't catch co gay lol "co gay"
