I should probably go read that article, because while I want to say "Good guy!", I'm not sure the summary in the meme is right. If it was "anonymous tip presumably from a burglar", then it wouldn't have contributed to the burglar getting caught. Good guy still, right? But just how does this happen, did the burglar sit around watching all three tapes to figure out to call it in? Did he steal the tapes and notice it at home, reporting it so he wouldn't get charged with possession? Or is it possible he planted those three tapes there and therefore knew what was on them?

Yeah, I love the sentiment, but the meme doesn't check out at least on the basis of what's written on it. Props to the burglar if the story is true, that's certainly riskier than staying quiet.
